Sad and happy to leave the River Beatrice.  Great time but the tours were about killing us (SLOW people) in the end.  4 hour bus ride to Prague - gorgeous countryside in Germany and wow what a difference when we hit Czech Republic!!  Imagine a whole busload at a gas station for pee break with one loo for the Ladies!  line up to was crazy - I could have hit the stoopid women talking drivel as we waited patiently in line...ah well, soon to part company.  Some really nice people on board but a few, like small town Saskatchewan (talk, talk, talk about absolutely nothing!!) and loud voiced USA folk became really tiresome.  Definitely time to be on our own!!  Amazing cruise site wise and meals were beautiful but it will be quite awhile before we take another cruise and this was just a small one at 152 people!!

Soooo glad to leave the "boat people" this afternoon as our bus dropped us all at the Imperial Hotel and we caught Crazy speedy taxi driver to the beautiful small Ventana Hotel right on the Old Town Square.   We were given a gorgeous 2 floor suite - free upgrade! thanks to Rich's diplomatic request.  Window looked right out onto the Old Town Square - stars aligned!

Rested up/showered and then went to a fabulous restaurant recommended by our front desk (NO more touristy places and she knew right where to send us) Potrefena Husa restaurant.  Rich had the most HUMUNGOUS Pork Hock we have ever seen in our life.  We were in hysterics!  he couldn't finish but did admirably.

All 4 of us fell into bed majorly pooped!

The Moser Glass Gallery and Museum (Old Town Square area) is worth a look at when in Prague. They also had great walking tours of the Jewish area .. a lot of history (pain) there ...very interesting. Sounds like a great trip so far!
