NICE yoga session on the sundeck at 7:30 – even traffic noise didn't bother me but it will be nice to be away from a big city again. Breakfast @ 8:30 seems to fit for all 4 of us then off we trotted the 20 minute walk to Gillert Baths – a must do when in Budapest.  Funny time with confusing hallways/alleyways and where to go??  Eventually found our way to female thermal baths after soaking with the guys.  In gales of laughter when we donned our bathing caps!!  Interesting way of locking, unlocking lockers once we found someone to teach us how!  Creepy old speedo guy which just added to the funny scene.  Steam room incredibly too hot; cool dip pool only touched with toes, rather large Hungarian nude women, well used to the ways of this bathing experience.  John and R got separated – very easy to do in the maze of hallways/male/female….quite the experience and glad we did it.

Hot trotting back to boat in time to freshen up, quick lunch and off on our first tour.  Toured an open museum of long ago times; thatched roofs; huge bread loaves;short people; phenomenal that the miles of rail lines were all done by manual labour.  Jewellery and diamond centre just way too commercialized (even though Lanett and I did succumb to a small purchase!  Not real gold, pearls, 'crystals’ bracelet that R actually spotted for me with matching earrings – very fun to have such a memory piece together.  Final stop was the delightful town of Szentendre, cobble stones and many shops.  Nice time poking about, got wine for the journey, found an absolutely delightful blue pottery jug (Lanett found the sweetest skirt for her granddaughter – oh for girls!) R picked up a train puzzle for our Z or J.  Fun teasing J and L for getting to the bus with 1 minute to spare.  If you’re 2 minutes late you have to dance and sing – darn – didn’t happen.  Driver ‘Fatso’ hurried us home, cutting through some traffic guided by another delightful young gal tour guide.  Made the boat with very little time left to sailing time but off we went!  Fun to be ‘sailing’!

Champagne and greeting at Captain’s gala dinner – lonnnngggg talk by ships "guide" but never mind…stayed behind a bit to finish our wine and oh dear…no places for 4 of us sit together in dining room..well, the places they had for even 2 were with pretty odd people.  Ended up to our benefit as we returned to private serving in the Captain’s Lounge – just the 4 of us – whole bottles of wine served with each serving.  And then how we DANCED!!  Sooo very fun.  Found a British gent who really really knew how to dance – was just wonderful.  R and my goofy dancing – quite the workout!  And how I love to dance, no matter how we looked.

We got lost in Gillert Bath House as well ... I think the same old (creepy) guy in speedy 'hangs' out there ... we commented on him too!! Glad you are enjoying the sailing!
