Nicely up after super sleep (Lanett's rougher night ) and up to catch #16 bus down the hill, hopped on the tram (Lanett had a "Tram..attic" experience of falling into a gentleman’s lap – as he read his morning paper - JJ) then into an amazingly clean Market Hall – HUGE, beautifully displayed fresh food, meat, souvenirs – absolutely lovely place to visit. Treats – paprika for all, goose liver – the REAL stuff :0 and B found a great yellow purse (Italian) – Rich found his new backpack!!  The 'Best Bag” it’s called – whew – the old rotten green one is left in the garbage in Budapest.  Coffee break on the pedestrian shopping street – ohh the shoes but soooo expensive.   Wish we could have caught a pic of the cutest dog barking through the balcony ‘fence” just above where we stopped for coffee.

Hopped on the Hopon/hopoff and off to City Park to explore about – Hero’s Square etc.  Another great lunchspot – where they were smoking hookah’s – neat scent.  Great salads – guys had pressed cheese sandwiches/we shared an appy plate of hummus, eggplant relish, tzatziki – to die for, and a spicy tomato based dip with veggies.

Waited for bus to take us home – oh the poor in every city – thankful a very bruised, battered face, very inebriated fella and his friends/relatives didn’t board the same bus.

Saw our River Beatrice – looked fabulous!  Excited to board tomorrow!!

Explored the top of the Castle hill a bit when we returned and found a fabulous before dinner wine stop overlooking the city.  Hotel called a Rick Steves restaurant we wanted to try but to no avail.  So we just rested for a bit then headed out to find something and it was Great!  Turns out it is owned by the same folk as the #21 – just up the street – red checkered table cloths – great mushroom soup and salad for moi – sweetest waitress with spikey modern hair – one of those beauties who just doesn’t realize just how lovely she is.

Back for the final glass of wine in our lovely Castle hotel and off to bed.
