Benji Marston´s day :)

After a pretty long working day, I decided I deserved a treat. And what better treat is there than some good old-fashioned grub?
The name sounded familiar, (I later discovered that I had noted it down on my ´to-eat-at´ list - no I am not joking, the list does exist...), and the menú del día boasted the fact that it was completely vegetarian.
So one menú del día it was then!
First course: Amazing vegetable soup with wholemeal bread.
Second course: Aubergine pancake with vegetable risotto.
Pudding: Apple and cinnamon jelly.
Followed at last by a herbal tea.
Yep, that´s right, all that actually fitted inside my stomach. Oh and it cost about 50p...
At that price I felt I deserved to treat myself to an ice-cream from the poshest heladería in town. Strawberry yoghurt flavour, yum yum!
Total cost for the night: 70p.
Total weight gain for the day: 7 lbs (at least.)
God I love Cusco!
XxXxXxXx

Muchos besos, Beth XxXxXx

If we could eat out for that over here, I would never cook again! Sounds wonderful and hopefully you will be kept on the go enough to work off the excess! Maybe it does not go as quickly at high altitude? Glad you are still enjoying yourself. Lots of love. Carole

7lbs indeed, beth dont forget what happened in malaga - you dont want to pay extra because your over the weight limit, so ya know just becareful, those nice little icecream sellers may look cute and innocent but they know if you cant leave cause your critically obese you will keep buying and buying.
hee hee
sounds like all has taken a turn for the better, hope it stays that way - and i me... show all
