The planning has been coming along. I did actually get the immunizations so if someone with typhoid, tetanus, malaria, or hepatitis A comes towards me ... well I'm still running. I've got most of my travel supplies, all except the backpack. Yes, I realize it's an important piece to my trip, which is probably why I keep putting it off. I'm going very small, and I have many requirements for the bag, and I just haven't found the perfect one yet. All of this shopping has felt like Christmas; I've never bought so much for myself in my life. Unfortunately the bill for all the gifts comes back to me.

I'm finally finishing off work this week so I can take care of all of the odds and ends next week. If nothing else, this trip has really made me organize my life and consolidate. I'm down to having most of my belongings in about 5 storage plastic tubs (yes, I wasn't kidding about not being high maintenance).
