Oonagh

Well, we have moved on from the lovely lovely Beachhouse to Suva, the capital of Fiji (oooOOOoo). We were sitting outside the magistrates court today and a man came along and told us about the first coup that happened right there at the courts and the second that happened down the road. It was all very interesting until he started carving our names into pieces of wood and trying to sell them to us.
It was a bit of a mission getting here today, we got the bus to Suva which was quite nice actually, lots of scenery and stuff, buses are brilliant. Anyway, the mission came when we arrived at Suva bus station which is just a big bus park with buses going everywhere, I'm sure there's no order to it at all. We asked a man in a car park which bus we needed to get and he told us what it would say on the front and that it was green. Half of the buses at the bus station were green. We ended up just wandering round the bus station trying to guess which bus to get on until we saw it while crossing the road and flagged it down. So that seemed all fine and dandy until, about 20 minutes later, the bus we were on arrived back at the bus station. I hate that bus station. The bus driver had just forgotten our stop apparently and ushered us to another bus to take us to where we needed to go which actually turned out to be about ten minutes down the road.
Anyway, one MASSIVE hill later we finally got our hostel which is fine but a bit dissapointing after the Beachhouse. It was to be expected really. We've had a bit of a walk into Suva to find the internet cafe we're in now and it's a pretty interesting place, a big change from the tiny villages we've been seeing from the bus. Tomorrow we are going to go to the Fiji museum (they've got forks that Fijians used to eat eachother with and other exciting things) and maybe try and go to a Church because apparently the choirs are amazing here.

Yes well, there's my blog about Suva, it's not particularly descriptive but we've only been here since about three o'clock so yes, better blogs coming soon.
Here are some of my photos from the Beachhouse:

This computer doesn't like my camera so photos are coming soon as well, sorry to get your hopes up and everything
