The flight from Ontario to Atlanta was pretty uneventful.  We landed in Atlanta shortly after 1:00 pm.  Our plans were to store our luggage, hop on the MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), and have a good Southern-cooked meal.  Since the MARTA is elevated, we had a great view of Atlanta during the ride.  We could see old colonial-style mansions shaded by giant ancient trees. We ended up at a restaurant called Fox Bros. BBQ.  The food was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!  We had an appetizer of fried pickles, which were pickle slices dipped in batter and fried, served with ranch.  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!  We had ribs, pulled pork, collard greens, and fries.  For dessert, we shared a slice of the most heavenly and decadent chocolate pecan pie, served with whipped cream infused with chocolate and a hint of cinnamon.  This meal is definitely worth making a trip out to Atlanta.  We made it back to the airport with plenty of time to spare before we boarded our flight for Venice.
