The island is about 20km long for 10km large, with several nice beaches and covered with deap rainforest.

On the first day, the weather is still far from being the best but it is nice, chill out and I can enjoy the nature around. There is a decent walk through the jungle to go the other side of the island. There are huge lezards everywhere, massive bats in the trees and groups of monkeys...

The second day was spent doing nothing, sunbathing, reading, sleeping... and enjoy the good weather. Hard time really. I saw Lee Anna the evening, whom I met in Cameron Highland. Cool

The third day was a snorkeling tour with Lee Anna and 5 others. I have done several snorkeling trips before, in the Caribean, Thailand, Mediteranean, but this one was simply the best. Went to Coral Island and other beaches around. Saw a lot of colourful fishes, corals and also a giant Parot fish as well as 2 SHARKS!!!! There were reef sharks but sharks nonetheless. cooool.
Good evening again as I saw Jim and Sarah, also met in the Cameron Highland. I would have liked to spend 2 more days on the island but I need to go to Singapore. My flight for Jakarta is the 11th so that will give me only 1 full day to see Singapore.

I'll keep a very good memory of Malaysia. I did ot make the effort to learn much about the culture or even few words of their language (they speak English so well) but I loved the wild nature that the country offers and I definitely made the most of it. If you like jungle, mountains, trekking, diving... Malaysia is the best place in SEA and by far.
