The first thing that strikes at this hill resort is the temperature that easily drop from 35 to 20 during the day and a chilly 12 at night. On the way, you can also notice all the nice fields done on gentle slopes: it is the kingdom of the best tea and strawberries.

I plan to stay 3 days here. The first will be dedicated to salvage my clothes and shoes. After the treks in Taman Negara, the sweat and general dampness have made all my stuff smell very bad of mould. Everything (apart for one set for today) is at the laundry. I'm worried about my beautiful expensive special trekking shoes. We shall see.

The 29th was supposed to be a 6h walk with a visit of a tea factory. Unfortunately, the heavy rain started early in the day and despite our rain covers, we were soaked and cold after 2h of walking. Take a taxi after a good local tea was the only reasonable option. It actually rained all afternoon and my shoes are in a very very bad state with the mould. Don't know if the conditions will be good enough to do a last trek tomorrow. I'm not too optimistic.

Rained all afternoon and evening so I won't go trekking. I decided to watch the final of the Euro at 2:45am instead.
Spent this third day doing nothing but chating with the other travelers at the guest house. I'll get a bus to KL tomorrow morning, trying to reach Melaka the same day.
