Not much to say except that the little trip (6h) between Muang Sing and Muang Xai confirmed the first feeling: there is no city in Laos, only groups of huts scaterred around or a village at most. The major surface for the roads is the ground itself.
NB: The bus being full, we "sat" on the alley, killing our back for the best part of the journey.

The next bus is tomorrow at 8am and then 1h boat from Niong Khiaw.

NB: Too slow to upload any photo, it is already great to have found an internet cafe. We also found an ATM, one of the rarest things in Laos and impossible to dream of only few years ago.
