I was supposed to leave Varanasi at 7pm to arrive at Satna at 3am, wait 2h to take the bus and arrive at Khajuraho at 8:30am. Thanks to the confusion on the train, I managed to miss my stop and had to wait for the next stop, 4h away. It is so upseting to watch by the window knowing that you'll have to do all the way back again.
I finally arrived at Khajuraho at 7pm, a full 24h after leaving Varanasi and 10h30 later than expected. At least it gave me the opportunity to try the lowest class on the train for a full Indian taste. It was so crowded that people climb the luggage ramp above your head to find some space.
Today was really good, walking for 5h from temple to temple to see all 25 of them. It is very nice and it was a good choice to do it early morning when it is not too hot and not too many tourists. Interesting to see that people here were carving orgies in sandstones when the European only started the cathedrales.
