AHHHHH......Pokhara........Hot, Humid and Wet!
After our 19 day trekking adventure, we took part in some serious R&R for a week in Pokhara with our British friends Coley and Dougy. The majority of the time was spent eating, drinking (Thank you Busy Bee, Thank you Amsterdam Cafe), playing pool, soaking up the cool air pumped out by our hotel room AC (when the power was not out) and watching movies on HBO (how western!).
Pokhara is a very mellow city that caters well to the tourist as it is the jumping off point for a handful of treks around the Annapurna region. The streets are lined with cafes, restaurants, bars, trekking shops, barbers, souvenir shops and book shops.
We bought some new clothes, spent an afternoon canoing on the lake and also played a round of golf at the famous Himalayan Golf Course, which has one of the top 50 golf holes in the world!
Our camera did not see a lot of action during this week, but thanks to Coley and Dougy we have a few pics to share.....

dress code
I guess theres no collared shirt rule in Pokhara.
What an extreme change in activities, I love it!
But seriously, i like your shirt Max.
Re: dress code
In case you were wondering, Pokhara is also the manufacturing world headquarters of the disposable shirt.
