Glacier Attack Team......  We visited, climbed, attacked and attemped to melt two famous glaciers on the West Coast of New Zealand.  The Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier proved to be huger than we had expected; We were no match for the sun, which seemed to be melting these two chunks of ice at a much faster rate than we were.  The rivers were rushing and you could hear the boulders in them being smashed into one another.  Once in a while the glaciers would even say something; We do not speak glacier, so we cannot tell you what they may or may not have said.
