Dunedin has become our favorite town thus far.  We arrived and had a game of Frisbee in a rugby field under the hot sun.  This town is filled with college students, chic cafes, Asian restaurants and trendy bars.  We frequented may of these establishments upon our arrival.

The next morning, we were rewarded with free roadside assistance for RICK courtesy of Max's (expired) AAA membership.  Finally, something for free!

We drove east to the Otago Peninsula and hiked down to Sandfly Bay.  We hiked down rolling sand dunes to the water and walked along the long, wide beach.  We viewed sea lions going in and out of the water and had fun jumping off some of the taller, steeper dunes.  The wind on the beach kept the flies away.  The waves were high and the scenery was fantastic.

Later that day, we drove the Presidential Highway from Clinton to Gore (HA!).  RICK would receive a new tire in Gore and Max and Ben would cook their first meal, quickly on their way to becoming experts in back country cuisine.
