As theme parks go it was pretty good I guess, the real highlight for me being the Spiderman ride which combined large 3D IMAX screens with seating that threw you all over the place as it went along a track to make a very cool ride without actually moving you very fast. At one point in the ride it throws you off a building and I couldn't stop myself putting my hands out as if to brace for an impact.
Moving on though we went on various other rides keeping our bags with us even on the water rides due to the retarded $3 per hour price tag on the very small lockers. The only exception being the Harry Potter ride which fortunately we didn't pay for as it is free while you Queue. The Harry Potter ride was ok but nothing 'that' special, especially not for the hour you had t o wait to get on it (compared to the 10-20 min per ride for everything else). As a matter of point Nic and I went on 'every' ride, which meant we ended up on the Cat in the Hat 'rollercoaster' meant for toddlers. We looked ridiculous but we held our heads high anyway.
Not wanting to leave to late as we were all getting pretty tired we left the park early. We arrived back at Macdonalds and spent some time there chilling out before moving back to the campsite to cook. Abi made some lovely spaghetti and sauce, after which we pretty much retired to our tents for the evening. Tomorrow was another long day of driving and saying goodbye to Michelle
