So we had an educational day today, as we got off the tube at the harvard station and had a bit of a mosey around. The buildings were all very big but seemingly quite new (made to look old in some cases) so it was a bit of a let down. Abi and Michelle went to an art exhibit so Nic and I thought we'd skip that and carry on wandering. We found some frat houses, and the infamous Harvard Law school (see pictures when I put them up). We then walked on to MIT, and found a museum with all sorts of cool techy stuff. Even Abi enjoyed it because they had a whole floor dedicated to the 'art of science' with moving sculptures and holograms and whatnot. After that, on Nic's navigational instructions, we headed into town. We were heading over the bridge thinking town was rather far away when Nic perks up 'oh, we are sposed to be on THAT bridge' indicating one 1/2 a mile closer to the centre. Ooops. We carried on though and had a nice walk through the shopping part of Boston and then had lunch in the Market district. Anyone who has been there knows what a HUGE selection of food you can get there so Abi had real trouble deciding just what to eat. She eventually settled on Calzonnie. We even had dessert which was delicious if very rich and filling. We then walked on and headed home after a bit of shopping, and had chilli and potatoes ( well I had cream cheese on a toasted bagel - ben) before going to bed quite early again (lots of walking).
