Home for the summer...Norrfällsviken

Gday all...I have been a real slacker at filling in the final couple of weeks of the bike trip...it is now June 28th, Sam and I finished the trip over one month ago...as they say, time certainly flies. I have been having an awesome time settling into the lifestyle here at Norrfällsviken Golf-course, Sam and I are living in the old clubhouse here at the course, we open our front door and literally step out onto the driving range...the little shack comes complete with a huge outdoor verandah and sea-views, not to mention a sweet golfcourse that we can play anytime (its not such a bad shack)...no running water though. Sam is working as the assistant pro, and I am the range-boy + general hand around the place...very little pay, but free use of the above mentioned shack, as well as access to the driving-range and course...plus use of this computer as well as the awesome hospitality of Christian and Mindy + their kids Taylor 'the tiger' and 'Smiley' Riley (27 tusen tack...to the both of you for everything)
Middsommar has just been this past weekend...it's one of the big celebrations on the Swedish calender and we certainly celebrated in copius amounts, spending a couple of great days/nights on one of the many islands off this Northern part of the Swedish coast...stories about these few days will soon be written and pics will be posted (tack so mycket to all fellow fest'ers out their at Ted's place)...last wednesday was the longest day of the year here, it has been many weeks now since I witnessed even a hint of pure darkness...the night times are certainly different to that of an Australian summer, it never gets dark, just stays around a dawn or dusk type of light...kinda cool, but can really mess up your sleeping patterns. Speaking of that I need to go and catch up on some Z's...so i'll leave it here (I have marked on the map all the spots visited on the bike tour...it is just going to take me some time to get the stories plus pics uploaded)
