Finally after so much preparation, we are getting very close to the departure date. Dave and I are getting really excited. Empty house, fully packed bags, ready to leave tomorrow.
Tonight we are going to share a good meal with some close friends. Lucky we will be sleeping at a friends' house tonight. The move happened so quickly and was so smooth that we have difficulties realising what is happening. On Friday morning we fly from 10am in the morning and we arrive in the evening in Nairobi. We are going to meet my friend Nathalie from Paris at Hotel Fairview. We will have a day of rest at the hotel before setting off very early on Sunday morning for our safari. I will probably not write much during these 3 weeks as we will be in remote areas. Dave has managed to get a phone which works worldwide and on which we can be called on for free in some countries. My phone will be off most of the time but I will check texts regularly (provided a network is available). Coucou Maman, ca y est nous sommes presque dans l'avion. Le demenagement s'est bien passe. Dave et moi sommes tres excites. Demain nous partons pour Nairobi au Kenya pour retrouver ma copine Nath qui nous attends deja la bas. J'essaie de donner des news mais pendant ces trois prochaines semaines cela risque d'etre au compte goutte vu que nous trouverons en pleine brousse! Je t'embrasse tres fort.
