In many ways it was the same story as Badami here; brilliant sights but not much else. Here we saw the Golgumbaz with it's massive dome, it is said that if you whisper on one side of the dome what is said can be heard on the opposite side. Sadly school children cannot whisper and so Golgumbaz was full of shouting when we visited. More impressive to us was the Ibrahim Rouza on the other side of town, an Islamic monument, the minarets of which supposedly inspired the Taj Mahal.
