From Ooty we had an early morning start and a long bus ride on sore bottoms caused by too many hours sat on a horse. The views from the bus were pretty as we wended our way down the mountainside. Mysore has a beautiful palace, lavishly decorated interior and pleasant gardens, which we spent a good few hours exploring and took far too many photographs. A colourful market that sells mainly dyes, fruits and scents was worth a visit too.
