First day in Paris was an adventure day starting with a Segway tour of Paris. Unfortunately due to a hiccup in bookings we could only have 4 segways and 4 bikes, so us mature adults let the boys ride the segways for most of the time. After fits of laughter at learning how to ride these and Dave have the most hilarious Victor Motor Mower Moment (you had to be there) we set off on our tour which took us past many of Paris's wonderful buildings, parks and statues. We stopped for lunch in the old palace gardens outside the Louvre and although the wind was howling and it was sooo cold we enjoyed a great lunch before heading back, last stop the Eiffel Tower. The segways were great fun and a huge highlight of the trip for the boys. We then spent the rest of the day walking the sights of Paris before heading into the Latin quarter to be accosted by restaurant owners touting for business. Had dinner in a Greek Restaurant... Go figure....

Day 2 sent the Sutho's off to Disneyland and we went to the Louvre to dutifully do the rounds. What is it with the Mona Lisa, people were packed in 20 deep to look at it but we just didn't get it... Philistines I suppose.... We then spent the rest of the day wandering thru Paris and enjoying the feel of the city, had great lemon crepes in a cafe called Quasimodo's near Notre Dame...

Day 3 and we lined up for Notre Dame, we have been really lucky with waiting queues for things not long to wait at all and up we went to the top to explore the towers. We then spent the rest of the day wandering thru the city again and more of those lemon crepes.... Loved the buildings and gardens of Paris it's so pretty.... I havent said too much about Paris here, as most people are aware of the touristy things in Paris already but its such a nice city to wander thru with friends, just talking, laughing and joking, someone to share the experience with... Ahh we'll always have Paris !
