We arrived in Ibiza after our sail across from Denia and decided to anchor in a small rocky bay.
Not long after dropping anchor the national parks ranger (or the Spanish equivalent) came over to the boat and told us we can't go ashore because it's protected.
Shaz did her usual survey of other yachts through the binoculars (Mrs Cravitts) and to our surprise we found that most of the people on the boats wore no clothes. After a little reading of our cruising guide we discovered that this was a naturalist bay on the Island. So we all got our gear off and .......(Just joking).
The next morning I took Tom and Harri ashore (well actually in the water close to the shore) with the scuba gear and gave Harri his first proper scuba dive. He handled it like a pro.
By the time we got back to the boat the wind had shifted and it was time to leave and head to the Island or Formentara, just south of Ibiza, which is supposed to be the playground of the rich and famous. (We'll just try to sneak in without being noticed!)
