Today was to be an even longer day. Headed back out to the ground fairly early to again make sure that we didnt miss a ball. It was a long day as england were still batting and batting well. But this didnt stop us from giving our support and giving everything we had to the pommies. Eventually the tides turned and England finished their innings with over 400 on the board.

Now it was our turn to inflict some batting prowess.....or as this test would turn to be....not so good. Australia finished again lost of runs behind and quiet a few wickets down. After the tension of the 2nd test this one was turning into a bit of a struggle.

Again I met Mark at the pub after the days play and we headed back into city centre to find the third of the crew from Boston Debbie. How lives in Leeds but had driven over to catch up with us both.

So after finiding Debbie and then finding her somewhere to park the car we headed back to the hotel so that I could change and also check out, thankfully I didnt need to take my bags with me to dinner otherwise it would have been a long trip.

We headed off to Chinatown to find a nice buffet dinner where we did some catching up and talked for a couple of hours before heading off to find a pub so that we could have a drink. It was getting a little late and Debbie had to head back home so we walked back past the hotel for me to pick up my bag and then walked Debbie to her car before Mark and I caught the bus to his place.

Again another long night but it didnt finish until I had helped to put Marks bedroom back together as he had just finished painting it and all his furniture as stacked in a pile in the middle of the room. I think that I finally managed to get to bed about 1 and was thankful for that. Another long day gone. But it had been great.
