Bus to Train to Bus

Day 16 - Feeling much better thank goodness as today is the worst transfer on the whole trip. First step is 4 hours on the bus from Yichang to Wuhan. Followed by catching the sleeper train to Guilin - I joined Charles and John in the dining carriage where the policeman took our order(!) and the guys shared a chicken dish including feet! I hardly slept again and as I was in the top bunk, really suffered from the smoke inhalation!
Day 17 - Arrived at Guilin at 5am. The public bus station doesn't open until 5:30 and so we waited outside for half an hour until we could move into a waiting room until 7am, when the bus left. Fell asleep on Charles' shoulder for a minute or two until the horn from the bus woke me up everytime it went past a motorbike or bicycle! Finally arrived in Yangshuo at 8:30 in the morning.
