Sunday was an early start, up at 6:30 to pack and checkout, networking breakfast at 7:30. I met with more members of the NYSOTA board, on a table titled 'rehabilitation, disability and participation'. I received lots of offers to visit however a lot of them were in NYC however they currently have no patients due to evacuation or they are overwhelmed with patients! Sessions for the Conference today included a 'Falls Prevention Programme' and 'Professionalism and Academia' both very thought provoking.

I love Boston it's a really friendly city with a lot to do. I'm pleased I came back to meet Lauren here. I arrived back on a 50 minute flight from Rochester and got the silver line trolly to south station and strolled back to the hostel. I met with Laura and the girls in our dorm. We went out for a meal with the girls; one German, one Iranian, one Egyptian and two girls from Notts (Laura and I). We went in search of Clam Chowda and found the German restaurant in Chinatown that wins the yearly award at the Clam Chowda festival. They were about to close but said they would stay open for us.......however they had run out of Clam Chowda. So we want off in search of some, sadly to no avail and we plumped for Italian. It was a really good consent for a restaurant, you were given a card and menus you went to the food station from which you wanted to order and they swiped your card to record your order so no awkward bill splitting at the end! Following this we went on a short walk around the city, at this point the hectic weekend had caught up and I decided to retire to bed.
