While we were camping in the Denver area we decided to whitewater raft. The water levels were so high that Clear Creek looked like it would be fun and it was close. I have rafted many rivers and none were like this one. It was only an hour of actually rafting which is short compared to alot of others but it was non stop action. We put in right at a class 4 rapid and then went from there. A couple times we had to get in the bottom of the boat or lean back because we were so close to bridges due to high waters. Thank goodness they gave us dry suits and splash jackets because we would have froze if not. There was constant water in our face and it was great. I even rode the bull which means to sit on the front tip of the boat with my legs over into the water holding onto a rope. I am so glad I didnt wimp out and I actually did it because it was so much fun. We may do this again sometime later on in our trip because it was awesome!
