So yeah, apparently I have seen my last snow-less day in Hirosaki. ITS CRAZY. Two days ago there was no snow. Now there is about a foot and its snowing heavily outside while I am writing this. Its been snowing all morning, this morning I lost a glove on the way to school. No idea how that happened...anyway last night was really cold and Andy and I spent it cleaning out our closets and procrastinating studying. At least our closets are clean...
WOW I sense a MEAN snowball fight, very soon...we attempted on Friday night after karaoke with the snow that was on surrounding cars-it seems the koreans are pretty handy in a snowball fight, one guy almost got me in the ear, luckily I escaped certain pain using my ninja like reflexes.
I only have two months left here and I am trying not to think about it too much because this has been my life, and I kind of dont want to let it go. I have my routine and I have people I want to be with-not that I dont want to be with my family, I would really like to be with both but I guess thats the trouble of travelling, you cant be where you want to be all the time. Anyway its ridiculous and I want to come back here again, even though I am sure I probably wont. To say goodbye to a place or a person forever is a hard thing to do, but I cant ever have things the way they are now, after this ever, and that scares the heck out of me. Life moves way too fast and sometimes I wish it would just stop for awhile so I can enjoy the things I want to for just a bit longer. This is all excepted, of course, by Yamazakis essaywriting class, which is said to take an hour and a half but which actually sucks years out of your life and takes at least three days to finish.
Our neighbour Irina made us soup the other day (YAY IRINA) so delicious.
I am currently talking online to this guy I know who was a missionary and just got back from serving in Niigata (really close) for 2 years, he got back 2 days ago!! I knew him in America and I tried to teach him fragmented japanese I had learnt from the internet. We went for sushi together there! I didnt know he was finished already and he just signed on! How crazy is that.
Well in other news no more crows have landed on my head. Not a one. If I see one swooping in my direction I just give it the evil eye and I dont have any trouble.
Gotta run
By the way, mail/christmas cards/ phone calls/messages would be much appreciated.
