After the most phenomenal phaffing and a discussion with a German couple riding Africa twins (at this point I didn't realise how much I would want one!) we started I head off. Darius is carrying everything including the kitchen sink, it amazing!

Adrian and I had a agreed a route south through Azni, towards Taraoudant crossing the atlas mountains. The riding was phenomenal and we stopped so many times just enjoy the view and the silence... Haha I think I'm becoming a hippy!

Met a man with a snake just sitting on the side of the road, naturally he wanted my arm, leg, first born and royalties to any financial gain for the photo attached... Nothing for nothing in marocco. I see a t shirt coming!

Suppose you need to have your business hat on even when sitting in the hills 100kms from anything!

We agreed to cut out the of off roading section of the route as we still had 100km to go and we didn't want to rise at night so the plan was to head straight for Ifni on the coast where we heard we could camp on the beach..,perfect end to a perfect day...queue ominous music...

No more than 10mins late and my clutch started slipping and gave up...no clutch what so ever! Hmmm what to do? Stop and check it over or carry on rising until we get to a town?

I carried on...100kms with no clutch, the sun setting and we are in the middle of no where...tempers fraying!

Darius in the lead as he has a gps (Erm we only have maps which was fun until now!) me and Adrian following helplessly but at least in communication. We road through Touradant and Darius had lead us straight into the market, I'm not sure he realised that stopping would be the end of me and we didnt want stop there! My observations from the mopped riders in Marrakech paid off. I'm not sure what they made of the hooting, pushing, shoving and roaring engine of a V Twin tearing through the market.

We hobbled along on the dark until we finally found Ifni, by now it was 10pm. There was no sign of a camp site and the place was deserted. Incredibly Darius took a wrong turn down a dirt track, I couldn't maintain it any longer and I stalled! Unable to find neutral and no clutch i wasn't going anywhere. That was it!

Incredibly and after being attacked by a pack of dogs we found we had stopped / stalled just a hundred metres from the camp site..,happy days!

No point even looking at the bike the host showed us a room and offered a fish tagine... Both were equally awful but seemed like heaven after the ride in!

We crashed after eating, a little better friends, thank you boys!
