Hello babies!!

Was up at 8:30am and on the road at 9:30.  Went down to the river as wanted to see more of Swift Current.  It was really nice, the residential roads were lined with big trees, reminded me of Lethbridge.  Went down to the park and golf course and saw the river aptley named Swift Current Creek.

Then went to Wheatlind? Mall in search of the farmers market to discover it's only on Thursdays and Saturdays, poo.  The rest of the mall....was like...North Hills Mall.

Off to Moose Jaw!  On the drive I could see what looked like snow but no, its salt!  I stopped at Chaplin to discover it's not eating salt but used to make detergent and stuff...   Also, because the area normally has lots of water, it's a big bird watching area.

Back on the road, I saw a 'point of interest' sign so I stopped for a leg stretch and knowledge (haha) but there was nothing but a dumpster and the overwhelming smell of urine - yum!

Decided to stay the night in Moose Jaw, it's lots cheaper here than Regina and I could use some charging and refreezing of cooler cubes.  Am staying at Al Capone's Hideaway.  It hasn't changed a day since...  Walked down the main drag and saw all the heritage buildings, enjoyed Cresent Park.

The weather was beautiful all day but now it's storming again.  I took a picture of the rainfall and I hope it truly shows the intenseness of the rain.

And they say southern Saskatchewan is just prairie... We remember the salt plant from our quick drive through before - had forgotten all about it though. Had stayed in Moose Jaw then as well... our motel was also from that era! Thanks for keeping us posted... await the next update in your Sites to See
