Where I stayed
God only knows

Was up around 8:30am, everyone had already left for work so got myself ready with the assistance of Murphy & Zoey and was off to Elkwater.   It's a nice lake in the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park with lots of camping, hiking and riding trails.  I went up to the HorseCanyon Lookout where I realized I had forgot my jacket back in the Hat.  oh poo.

SO...I headed back!  Got to see Tracee one last time then I was really off...really.  I stopped in Irvine and drove around.  Was hoping the get a pic of the Irvine sign but so such luck.  Back on the higway and not too much farther you could really see that the area is still quited flooded.  I took a pic where the water almost comes up to the road and you can see how some of the fences are still underwater.

I rolled into Saskatchewan (listening to 'play the funky music white boy') and stopped at the Tourist Info Centre just before the turn off to Maple Creek and  Sask access to the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.  The camping at the Prov Park was down a different road from Fort Walsh (where I wanted to go the next morning) and the short cut gravel road was flooded so would be a long drive down then back up and back down other road so they looked into this equestrian campsite not far from Fort Walsh and lucky me, it was open!

It was a good hour drive down there (detoured to see the Conglomerate Cliffs complete with two coyotes).  When I arrived about 10 feet of road to the campground entrance was bad, dryed mud dents.  I checked it to make sure all was firm and found a good route through.  I pulled into the campground to find.....I was the only one there! the middle of no where tooo (okay, the ranger station of just up the road).

It was a nice area, saw squirrels, robins, other happy birds, a jack rabbit, little gopher thingys, very active place!  Then it started to rain...POUR.  I didnt set up my tent - decided to sleep in the car.  It was only 5:30pm so I had a LOT of time to entertain cell service...just me, my bear, a good book and rum.

Finally got to sleep once the sun went down and prayed it would stop raining!
