We arrived to the cabin when it was already dark. We could hardly see it, but were lucky because Miroslav knows it as if it was his own home. It was a quite romantic atmosphere, with the weak light of the candles illuminating the cabin and the stars doing the same with the sky. We ate the food we had bought in Prachatice (in a LIDL!!) the day before, and thought about sleeping in the outside...too cold for us. To sleep there was extremely comfortable, as there were three solid beds inside.
The next morning we got up early and could get a more detailed view of the cabin. It was very nicely built, much more than what we had imagined. It had even its own balcony! Very near, at about 50 meters, there was a place called "The Chapel", built for them (Miroslav and his friends) but not precisely to pray...
We went for a walk in the surroundings, getting very nice views of the forests, and even from the military area in front of the cabin. We even visited a quarry, our obliged stop being three geologists alone in the forests (this is what we usually do to have fun). We ate something, wash the dishes, cut some wood, packed, and sadly left the cabin to come back. Only later (in Vienna) we would discover that two ticks had biten us, and were actually with us for the next week (it was like a very cheap Interrail for them)... More thumbnails ...
