Having had a nice foster experience in the past (we mean the experience with our Spanish feline friend, Miau), we decided to continue with it.
We decided to choose helping with cats, because a dog needs more attention and we didn't have a lot of time... always studying... So we found an ad saying that some volunteers were needed and... we met Filomena, who we admire to. Filomena is a strong personality young woman from Naples and living in Pisa, who takes care of cats every day at every time. In fact, she is almost able to look after every feline colony existing in Pisa and its surroundings, and she takes care of some Neapolitan cats too! We were fostering cats the whole academic year, and we met a lot of buddies (also doggies) who had their different life stories which weren't too happy.
On July 2007, we left Italy with a good balance because every cat was re-homed. The only cat we couldn't re-home was Kara. She was too feral, but we found a garden where she is living out and being fed by the family living there. If you are interested in helping, donating, fostering or adopting in Italy, contact us through this entry and we will help you to get in touch with Filomena. More thumbnails ...
