We took the chance, as we were working in Aix-en-Provence during the week, to go to Marseille in a weekend day trip.
Marseille seemed nice but so huge to spend the whole day walking around... It was a warm summer day and we felt like for refreshing things; so we went to the harbor and discovered a great surprise there: There were launches to go to some nearby islands! We boarded the launch and enjoyed swimming in the crystalline waters for the rest of the day.
However, a bit of time was left to visit some nice areas of Marseille during the evening.
