After five long hours on a bus and a two hour luggage transfer that resembled World War II, I finally moved into my apartment in Florence. The apartment is very spacious with a raised living room loft and 20 foot ceilings. Although 20 foot ceilings seemed really cool at first, the novelty worn out after I realized that my apartment will forever be cold as hell. I share a one bedroom apartment with Fisher, but we have three fantastic women as suite mates. The five of us are inseparable and one of them thinks that it would be a good idea if we have some "Italian group name"... nope, not so much.
The first night I thought my apartment was in some Italian ghetto and that everyone in the building got shafted. However, the next morning I realized what an amazing location we have. The building is right next to a famous Italian theater that shows musicals, operas, symphonies, etc
So far I am just trying to figure out where all of my classes are and how to maneuver the streets of Florence. But the people are very friendly and understand my made up language of Italian and pop culture (for example: Mi dispiace, breaking il vaso was an accidento. Take mastercardé??)
I have included a lot of pictures with stories for you all to enjoy... or not. I hope everyone is having a great time!

I also have a supermarket, great restaurants and the most popular pubs and clubs a very short (less than a minute) walk away.So far I am just trying to figure out where all of my classes are and how to maneuver the streets of Florence.
