Got the tour of town this morning, nice little town. Don is the Mayor here so some of our wanderings had to do with city business. All interesting. We ended the tour out at the private airport to check out his airplanes and those of his friend Randy. Included in that mix were the Aeronca Champ we will be flying tomorrow evening, a vintage Aeronca Chief and a Cessna 140. The latter two are currently not airworthy and are projects in the works. In Randy's hanger sits a Piper Super Cub and a Fairchild 27. Both ready to fly. I understand the Cub will be flying tomorrow, too. Pictures below.

After noon, we went visiting and moving various things around the area. First stop Mora to pickup a snow-blower.  This farm had an old, quaint barn that is being put on the Historical  Register. Pictures below.

Then we went to Ramsey to Don’s brother’s to drop off the snow blower for a tune-up and pick up a lawn tractor for Don and Andrea’s son Steven. Then to Steven’s in Otsego to deliver the mower. When we left there we drove up to Isanti for dinner were I met Don’s daughter Valarie who is a police officer in this town and was on duty.

Then back to Hinckley  to kick back. We even had a campfire before we turned in.

Another busy day awaits tomorrow including flying!! Yeah!!
