So I woke up and Lindsey dropped me off at school at 6 AM.  Waited around for about a half hour then took the 3 and a half hour bus ride to O'hare.  Got to the gait just fine, no problems checking in.
We had about an hour or so to waste, so Nate and I we gonna go see what was going on.  We ended up grabbing a beer at Goose Island in the airport.  So it was time to board.  We got all "cozy" and the plane took off on time.  The flight went North out of chicago, over alaska, down the eastern coast of Russia/Siberia.  It took us 15 hours to get to Hong Kong.  The Longest day i have ever had.  The bonus was that since it was international flight, the drinks were free.  So i figured i'd make lindsey happy and had a few CC and Cokes.  They played about 8 movies during the flight and served us 2 meals.
So we got to Hong Kong and had a 3 and a half hour layover there.  Nate and I decided to head out and explore the airport.  We found a lil' sports bar so decided to sit down and have a few beers and get an appetizer.  When we sat down, to my amazement, I was able to pay another tribute to Lindsey.  They had Kilkenny's on tap(her favorite).  While we were in the sports bar, we got chatting it up with a guy from New York that was on his way home from Thailand.  He was giving us all the ins and outs while there.  So after 3 Kilkenny's and the appetizer we decided it would be a good idea to head back to the gate.  We stopped for coffee on the way back(try to stay up for the duration).  The coffee didn't work, both of us were out about the time that the plane left the ground in Hong Kong.
Flight to Saigon was pretty uneventful.  We landed and had the whole fiasco of getting everyone's luggage.  Luckily everyone got every piece of luggage that they check.  While we were leaving the airport, we were met by the people from the hotel.  They had a small bouquet of flowers for each of us.  We threw our luggage into a truck and then boarded the bus.  Which is actually pretty nice charter bus.  I think that is the one that we will have for the duration of our trip(fingers crossed.)  We got to the hotel, by the way, it's hot and muggy here.  Tomorrow should be a pretty good blog, going to the Cu Chi tunnels and having an official dinner with the red cross.  Expect more tomorrow.
