A very very early start today!
We were up at 0400 to meet our driver at around 0445 to catch the Sunrise at Angkor wat.
The size of this place is just bloody huge! and watching the peaks come into view as the sun rose was brilliant, it's one of those things that you just need to do! After this we went exploring inside and it's just as beautiful inside, especially some of the carvings like the churning of the sea of milk, everything about it is grand!
After wards we went onto the Bayon temple which was pretty cool! There are an immense amount of Buddha like faces just staring at you that have been carved into some of the towers around this temple. After a couple of the smaller temples we went on to the "Tomb Raider" temple, this place was pretty cool, We also liked the fact that this one has been left to nature, definately feel's like your exploring the unknown!
After this, a trip back home and sleep!
There are a lot of people trying to sell heaps and heaps of things around the temples, we tried to do our best to support the goes making an effort, for example Land Mine victims performing in bands and raising money for awareness rather than Children hawking goods that should be in schools!
