Sad day today, after another cool breakfast with an awesome view of the river and mountains we hopped into a Mini Van for our journey to Vientiane.  A pretty uneventful trip apart from the driving buying a massive fish halfway to Vientiane.

Some massive festival was going on when we got there and the whole place had a pretty uneasy feel about it.  Tuk Tuk drivers were pretty pushy and there were WAN'S actively scamming in all the internet cafes in town - no joke.  It also felt like there were more Expats than Laos people in the city!

All we used the city for were to book a flight and a place to stay before catching the flight, but we managed to pick up some Vegemite here as well!
