We are DONE with our class!!! After 4 intensive weeks of English Grammar and Teaching we have passed the class and have received our certificates!!!!!!!! Now it's onto job hunting. This weekend we are updating our resumes to include information that Argentines like to see along with our new qualifications (i.e. a picture and birth-date... single or married); the equal opportunity act does not apply/exist here.

We haven't been doing much touring the past few weeks due to school. Tomorrow we will be going to another market and next weekend possibly going north to the water falls to tour them at night when there is a full moon.(FULL MOON Tour)So hopefully soon we will have more pictures of the area.

On Friday we had a guest speaker "the Moon Man", Wayne Bernhardsen(sp?). He wrote the Argentina Book for Moon Publishing. It was very neat to hear him come speak about his travels of the country and places he's been. He had some good one day trips to recommend along with 3-4 day trips. After he talked to us we went to a parilla (grill) where we had the BEST steak I've ever had. It was a fun last trip with the class.

We hope you are all staying warm and safe! We heard your suppose to get some sleet/snow this weekend. Send some of that "cool" air our way; its very hot and humid... it's in the upper 80s today.

Dans coments!

* I'm pretty sure Dr Atkins is Argentine,  or at least he wanted everyone to be Argentine... its the red wine and massive amounts of meat that is the key to the Proteno (people born and raised in Buenos Aires) lifestyle... and im drinking the kool aide on this one.  Between Friday lunch and the cook out we went to on Friday night into the late morning, I'm pretty sure Sarah and i ate 64 ozs of steak, and that doesn't include the Provela (Grilled Provolone covered in chimmychuri spices and oil) and fresh Salmon. Other than that life has been good... Have I mentioned that our investment has started to pay for itself (slowly).  We started giving some private lessons for some students.... it was one of the coolest feelings sitting there teaching someone and walking away with some rent money at the same time!

In the mean time we are looking forward to talking to all of you, hearing about life in States
