Bye, bye Beijing

Went to the Lama Temple, which was awesome. We actually got to see about a hundred monks chanting around a giant Buddha for about an hour. Super cool. Then there was this 50 foot tall Buddha, carved out of a single piece o wood.
Aftfer the temple, we went to pick up our train tickets to Xi'an. Well, turns out there was a little misunderstanding, and we picked up our train tickets to Shenyangbei. The hotel said they couldnt fix it, and we had to go to the train station...We mine as well have gone to Mar. The staion was huge, we had no idea where to go, and everything was in Chinese. So I spotted a hostel across the street and we made a B line or it. There, they were able to book us tickets to Xi'an, but we had to go to the refund window at the station to get a reffund. The girl wrote refund in Chinese on a piece of paper, so when we got over there I just showed someone the paper, and she pointed us in the right direction. While we were in, line, some guy came up and offered us 90% of face value or our tickets, so we took it. (We would have only gotten 90% at the window).
After that was all done, we met up with the Danes for dinner and drinks. Jack(the chinese one) showed us a Chinese drinking game played with dice, so we played that, until 3:30. Our train doesnt leav until 7 PM, so we decided to just sit in the internet cafe for a couple hours, since its raining out, and internt is like 50 cents an hour. More thumbnails ...
