We started our day in Christiana, a self-proclaimed independent sixties social experiment.
We're not quite sure whether the hippie-ideals of back then have survived up to today, or it is just an excuse to tag and sell hasj when you're not supposed to.
One stroll further and you're back into the 21st century, with the Black Diamond as it's shining beacon.
A beautifully designed, ultra-modern library that caters every need you might have: from coffee to music, from exhibitions to, oh yes, books.
Quick-lunch Copenhagen-style, with designer smörrebröd, Michelin-approved and quite tasty.
Off to the Nationalmuseet. Every capital seems to have one of those, depicting the entire historical span from prehistoric times up to now. They all come with the same warning: let Bart out of your sight for five minutes and you'll spend several hours trying to find him.
Ended our museum day in the Danish Design Museum...which has you mostly point at things, saying: "oh, is that Danish too ?"
True hipsters as we are becoming in this city, we ended our day in minus five degrees for a fashionable cocktail in the Ice Bar. The whole setting, including the glasses, comes in clear Ice and with supplementary wintercoats.
It sure is a far-fetched way to keep your G&T chilled!
