Right in time to witness our own Evi Van Acker win bronze in the Olympics!

Ahum, back to Copenhagen.

In our brief encounters with Christiansborg (Royal Palace), the ruins of former Royal, yet burnt-down palaces and quick boat trip around the Canals, we have now not only a good idea on what to explore in the next few days, but quite a good insight in the Danish as well.

Without further adue, we present our Copenhagen 101:

- Don't play with matches....Palaces get burnt

- If you want to be in fashion, follow the following tips:

Ladies, wear jumpsuits, tuck your trousers into your socks and wear rubber boots as everyday footwear.
Gentlemen, wear strange color combinations, checkered shirts or better, as we saw one man strolling down
the main shopping street, wear nothing at all.

- When it comes to drinks, order either coffee or beer, it makes people smile. (Bart ponders moving here)

- There is more chance you get hit by a bicycle than a car. Cyclists are well-trained in dodging pedestrians at high
speed, at the very last moment. Pedestrians are well-versed in completely ignoring said cyclists.

If you think you have mastered these skills, visit Tivoli after dark. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, prepares you for Tivoli after dark. It's a fifties Carnival on colorful steroids, it's like watching an episode of Carnivale on sixties drugs. It's strange, over-the-top and bound to make you either skip or giggle.

I think I need to lay down now....
