Today it was time to satisfy Deborah's obsessive need to visit Dressbarn and do some additional shopping. We were looking for cold weather footwear as wel. We rented a car from Alamo, picking up the car from the Dolphin Hotel's valet's and then use the GPS to navigate. It actually worked out to be considerably cheaper than catching a taxi each way, and was very convenient. Half a day and $500 later, we had new clothing, new shoes and a new suitcase to put it all in. The car was dropped back at the Dolphin and we caught the boat down the canal to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Unusually for us, the transport system has been working really well and tonight was no exception. We dined at the Hollywood Studios Sci-fi Diner. This cafe, is set up as a drive-in picture theatre, with a massive screen showing 1950's sci-fi clips and the tables shaped as open top cars, all facing the screen. Customers sit in the cars, and eat there. Although pricey for the food you get, the cafe is well worth a visit for the surreal atmosphere while you eat.
