street to take pictures as the road was still closed due to the Macey's Parade. We headed over to Macey’s and started shopping. We had a list of things we wanted, we had researched the 'mega-specials’ that were on sale that day and we had a plan of attack. Simply put, it was start on the 8th
floor and do laps, gradually moving down, buying the things on our list until we ran out of money, ran out of energy, or crossed everything off the list. We picked up a variety of foods in the Village – cheese, wine, olives, bread, smoked salmon etc. Arriving back at the Hotel Element, we had tea and then did some laundry. We packed everything up, completely filling our brand new suitcase, finally getting to bed at around midnight.
