Darjeeling the best place in India. After the heat of the Indian plains it is really nice to get up into the beautifully mountings. we stayed in a really nice hotel for the first few days. The owner is an ex gerker who work us up at sunrise to see the views of the Himalayas from the roof top of his hotel ( Maja would have prefer sun set).

Its got a very Victorian feel with old colonial buildings scatted about the place, we have got an old English type cottage for aweek, its nice to have a real fire in the cold nights.

we are going to spend the week walking the hills and drinking tea before moving on to Nepal

WOW a month in already. doesnt time fly.Dajeeling looks fantastic are you going to stay their for more than 15 minutes or press on as usuall.Keep the photos coming they are great the ones of the mountains especially(less of your ugly mug though Baz and try and get some asian babes).Not to much news from here Dave has just got back from a week in Spain, he spoke to Random and we are hoping to get out for a beer soon. steve is in the states at the moment with his mum(sorry girlfriend). Hows the beer out there its the same as ever here, chilled ,poured and calling me so i have to go. Keep in touch and see you both in 11months.CHEERS Russ

Serious question
Baldy, Dave and I were wondering, is there any chance that your few days in Darjeeling, walking in the mountains, breathing the fresh, mountain air, drinking quality tea, will enable you to grow some hair?
