The over night train to udaipur was excellent, we shared a cabin with a couple from swindon who where half way through there world trip, gave us some good tips because we were feeling very green.

Udaipur is a pretty little town set on a large lake, there claim to fame is that it was the setting for octopussy and they play the film every where you go.

Found a great hotel for only three pound fifty a night each, going to stay here for three or four days.
