16/05/07 - Cimarron GC - Bought a cheap golf package which entitles me to 1 round of golf every day for just £13 a throw. The golf course is not the best you can play, but there are no houses, it's very well manicured, greens are medium paced and best of all there are hardly any other people on it. (I was going to say "other golfers" but experience has shown that I can't really categorise them as such!)

17/05/07 - Golf at Cimarron (am) and Tahquitz Creek (pm). Nothing much to say of interest, but spending 10 hours playing golf, warrants the title of "a good day".
I met Richard and Amy on the back nine at Tahquitz Creek. (I guess both were young enough to be my children - just!)
She had a really great swing (attractive too) his was awful (and not so attractive). He was wearing cheque shorts down to his shins, with white socks to his knees and black shoes that looked like "safety boots" - Dork!) He should have been rapping not golfing. She was dressed in, very short shorts and a blouse which exposed too much flesh. Now normally I would frown upon such attire but I'm becoming rather blasť and bored with the desert views!
But as they say, opposites attract, and these two really were opposites. So I guess there's no hope of me finding a partner with a good swing!

Bye for now - "Swish, swish, swish" - Zorro.
