To Phillip Island

I had some more time to kill in Melbourne before my bus left to the island. I went to Quen Victoria market once again. Very good food and litle things to look at. The i walked to Smith street, more cafes and shops and that kind of thing. Went to the Melbourne Cricket Grounds, Chinatown, parliament building, st. marks cathedral and then back over to southern cross station and caught my bus to Cowes.
There was a thunderstrom this night. That made things fun when I got off the bus. Its pitch black, i thought the power to the island had gone out or something, and its really windy and rainy. Had no idea where hostel was. It was late, nowhere was open to ask for directions. Walked around forever and finally found it not 200 ft from where the bus dropped me off. idiot. It was really nice when I got there. I got a 4-share room which was a nice break from the ten person dorms. too many people around all the time. Turns out it was just me and this really cool Austrian guy who was travelling on his bike and had just come from Chile. We had our own bathroom and everything. (which is a big deal by now)
