With all the late nights, it is a bit hard to soar with the eagles in the morning, however we set off for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in time for lunch - eating again!!!!!(in a nice café overlooking Central Park)  There was a showing of Rembrandt's work which was very interesting with amazing detail.  We got headphones with the audiotour which gives you a very good understanding of the works.  They also had some "fakes" that had been in collections as Rembrandt's work which were also interesting. Because the Museum is on the edge of Central Park, we walked in a little way.  I wanted to walk through the part of the park, so I headed off while Graham waited a while, got a taxi and picked me up at the southern end of the park.  I saw the pond where Stuart Little sailed the boats, the lakes and fountains in the main mall section, squirrels and the statue of Hans Christian Anderson and the Pilgrim Fathers.  David and Kylie took us to one of their favourite restaurants which was unusually very crowded because of the UN meetings.  Our entrée was organic ostrich egg scrambled with lobster and caviar - truly delicious.  We then went to a building near Columbus Square to have a drink and look at the skyline and lights.
