Today we went back to Times Square in the subway and did the Uptown tour in the bus which included Central Park, Harlem and the Upper East and West sides.  This took us all morning and then we went back downtown to go over to the Statue of Liberty by ferry.  These days because of 9/11 security is very strict.  Our bags were scanned as at an airport as we boarded the ferry, and we were allowed to go to the island however if you wanted passes to go into the viewing area they were limited and had to be bought several days ahead.  We still have to get better at estimating time to get around in NY through the traffic!!!  We met Kylie at the Marriott hotel where we had a quick bite to eat overlooking Times Square before we went to see "Avenue Q".  It has been playing on Broadway for quite a long time and was voted the best musical in 2004.  The actors were very skilful with the puppets which were a bit like Sesame Street puppets and it was most enjoyable.
